Restore a saved trip
Use this article when you want to get back to a trip you already saved.
If you want the full UI walkthrough for the trip list and row actions, read How to use the Trip Manager.
Basic workflow
- Open Manage My Trips from the header menu.
- In My Trips, find the saved trip you want.
- Click Load on that trip row.
- Wait for the workspace to switch to that trip.
What to check after load
Confirm that the restored trip shows:
- the expected trip name
- the expected route
- the saved planning state you meant to reopen
- the current workspace status for that trip instead of the previous workspace
When to load versus duplicate
Load the trip when you want to continue working on the same plan.
Duplicate the trip when you want to branch into a new version without overwriting the original.
If you are worried about losing current work
Before using Load, save the current workspace if it contains changes you may want to keep.
That is especially important when the current workspace is still only a scratch draft.
If the saved trip is not where you expect
Check:
- whether you are signed in to the expected account or session
- whether the trip was saved in this browser or environment
- whether you are looking for a duplicate or renamed version instead
