Commercial posts are OK in this forum. Posts in the Gear Deals Forum that don’t meet the following guidelines are subject to deletion.

  • Items should be relevant to backpacking and vendors that sell backpacking gear.
  • Commercial postings require full disclosure of affiliation.
  • Postings must include a deal (usually a discount) specifically for BPL members (please offer a unique deal for our community, no recycled coupon codes or offers available elsewhere online).
  • No crowdfunding announcements.
